Medway High School Cable Studio

The Medway High School Cable Studio facility opened in 2004 with the new high school. This is the main broadcast and business location for Medway Cable Access and main facility for Medway public access use. MCA offers a video technology course to students of Medway High School from this facility. Medway High School students also produce Newswatch in this main studio, along with other student run productions. The facility includes high definition cameras, a proffessional-grade ligthing system, and a Mac lab with Final Cut Studio. Residents can take community education courses at this facility to learn video editing and DVD authoring.

Middle School Facility / School Committee Room

A secondary cable studio facility is located at the Medway Middle School. Once the primary studio of operation for MCA, this facility is now used mostly to tape and broadcast town board meetings held in the School Committee room and events held in the middle school auditorium. Like the Town Hall, this facility features four remotely operated cameras in the School Committee room which are controlled by MCA staff in the studio during meetings. Meetings are broadcast directly from this facility, mostly to channel 11/36. The School Committee meets the first and third Thursday of each month at 7 pm. Meetings are broadcast live on channel 11/36. This facility is currently undergoing renovations.

Medway Town Hall

The Medway Town Hall features a recently updated broadcast system used to record meetings of the town's governing bodies. The new system includes four remotely controlled cameras mounted into the walls, a 42" Plasma TV to monitor the cameras, and a desk controller operated by town board members during meetings. The entire system is easily operated with only a few buttons. The Board of Selectmen broadcasts from the Town Hall on Monday evenings.
