I have an issue with my cable reception or service. Can you help?

Medway Cable Access is only responsible for operating the public access stations in Medway. Issues with service and/or reception should be directed to your cable provider, either Comcast (1-800-COMCAST) or Verizon (1-888-553-1555).

I'm interested in producing a program for the channel. Can MCA provide me with technical support and equipment?

Of course! The MCA staff is always eager to help Medway residents produce original shows to air on Medway Cable! Residents are welcome to use our studio facility, audio/video equipment, and editing suites. If you don't know how to edit or shoot video, don't worry! Can I help tape local events (sports, plays, musicals) for the channel?

MCA is always looking for volunteers of all ages (not just students!) to help tape sports games, local concerts, and other local events! To volunteer, send an email to info@medwaycable.com or call us at 508-533-7179.

Last year you didn't tape an event I'd hoped to see on MCA. Can I tape it this year for the channel?

Absolutely! We try to tape as many local and school events as possible, but due to scheduling conflicts and staff limitations, we're not always able to catch everything. If there is something you'd like to see aired on the channel, you're more than welcome to borrow MCA equipment to tape it. Can I aquire a DVD of a past event aired on MCA?

We have an extensive archive of past MCA programming which includes graduation ceremonies, musicals, and school plays. Provided the program you're looking for is in our archives, DVD copies are available to viewers at $10.00 a DVD (to cover the cost of materials). There may be special edition DVDs available of some programs (such as musicals) for $15.00 a copy. DVDs can be picked up at the cable studio located at Medway High School (88 Summer Street, Medway).

How do I get an announcement aired on the community bulletin board on the channel?

MCA will happily air announcements for non-profit or charity organizations with news and upcoming events. To get an anouncement on the bulletin board, please send a Powerpoint 2003 file (.ppt) to info@medwaycable.com.

Can I rent audio/video equipment to film a personal event?

Equipment is not available for personal use (taping parties, weddings, etc). However, volunteers can borrow equipment to tape events for the channel.
